Lord God Almighty, the God of Jacob, You are the Lord Most High and the great King over all the earth. You are seated on your holy throne and you reign over the nations. The kings of the earth belong to you and you are highly exalted. You are awesome, and we sing praises to you as our King. You are great and most worthy of praise. We belong to your city, the unseen city of Jerusalem in the heavenly realms, and you are in our citadels. I ask you to be our fortress, our tower, and our rampart and make us secure forever. May your right hand be filled with righteousness and your praise reach to the ends of the earth. I pray in Jesus' name that you will be for me and ______________________ our refuge and strength. Please be our ever-present help in the time of trouble. I thank you that you are with us, and I pray that because you are within us, we will not fall. I ask you to help us at the break of day when the battle begins again. We know that when you lift your voice, the earth melts. You can shatter the spear, break the bow, burn the shields with fire and make wars cease to the ends of the earth. Because you are with us and because you are our fortress, I pray that we will not fear even though the earth should give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea. Within your temple, the unseen temple in the heavenly realms, may we meditate on your unfailing love. Be our God for ever and ever and our guide to the end. Even though the waters roar and foam, even though the mountains quake, even though nations are in an uproar and kingdoms fall, may we choose to be still and know that you are God. Be exalted among the nations and exalted in all the earth. Amen.
