A Daily Prayer based on Psalms 15-16

Lord God, I pray today that we – ______________________ and I - will be able to dwell in your sanctuary and live on your holy hill. I pray that our walk will be blameless and that we will do what is right. May we speak the truth from our heart and have no slander on our tongue. I pray that we will do our neighbors no wrong and that we will not unfairly criticize our friends. I pray that we will despise vile men but honor those who fear you. May we keep our word, even when it hurts, and lend generously and freely to those in need. I pray that money will have no effect on the way we treat others. I claim your promise for us that those who do these things will never be shaken. I ask that you keep us safe in the time of trouble as we take refuge in you. I pray that we will always regard you as our Lord, and believe that apart from you we have no good thing. May we never take up the name of another god on our lips. Instead, may we take delight in the saints who are in the land. I ask you in Jesus’ name to make our lot in life secure, and to cause the boundary lines to fall for us in pleasant places. I pray that you will be our chosen portion and that the inheritance we receive from you will be delightful. Please counsel us; even at night may our hearts instruct us. I pray that we will always set you before us, and that we will never be shaken because you are at our right hand. May our heart be glad and our soul rejoice in the hope that our bodies will rest secure because you will not abandon us to the grave nor let us, as your holy ones, see decay. Please make known to us the path of life. May we discover that in your presence there is fullness of joy and in your hand are eternal pleasures. Amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Welcome

Never before in the history of our country has America faced a moral crisis like the one before us today. The foundations of our government are crumbling right before our eyes. Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
