A Daily Prayer based on Psalm 41

Almighty God, I pray that ______________________ and I will have regard for the weak, and that you will bless us by delivering us in times of trouble. Please protect us and preserve our life. Bless us right where we live and do not surrender us to the desire of our foes. Please sustain us when we are sick and restore us from our bed of illness. When we sin against you, I pray that you will prompt us to confess our sin to you, and I pray that you will have mercy on us and heal us. I ask you for protection should anyone maliciously spread slander abroad about us, or whisper against us and imagine the worst for us. Especially I pray for us should a close and trusted friend, one who has shared our bread, lift up his heel against us. I pray in that hour that you will have mercy on us, and raise us up and defend our reputation. My prayer is that you will be pleased with us and not allow our enemies to triumph over us. May we walk in integrity so that you may uphold us and set us in your presence forever. This I ask in the name of Jesus, amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
