A Daily Prayer based on Numbers 9:15-10:36

Almighty God, I pray that you will bless ______________________ and me and keep us. Please make your face shine upon us and be gracious to us. Turn your face toward us and grant us peace. As you directed the Israelites in the desert by the cloud that hovered over the tabernacle, so I pray that you will direct us through your Holy Spirit. At your command, may we set out, and at your command may we stay put. Please make clear to us when you want us to remain where we are, and when it is time for us to move on and move out, to a new location, a new job, a new ministry, or a new direction in life. May we obey you, and only stay put and set out at your command. I pray that you will draw us to assemble together with other believers for encouragement, worship, and instruction. When we go into battle against an enemy, seen or unseen, who is oppressing us, may we turn our face to you. Please remember us and rescue us in the day of danger and trouble. As Moses received practical help from the son of Reuel, so I pray that you will bring into our lives mature men and women of wisdom who can give us help, counsel, and direction. May we receive the wisdom we need to make good choices in relationships, work, and life. May your presence go before us and find for us a place of spiritual, mental, and physical rest. Rise up, Lord, and go before us. May your enemies be scattered and may your foes flee before your presence. This I pray in the name of Jesus, amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Never before in the history of our country has America faced a moral crisis like the one before us today. The foundations of our government are crumbling right before our eyes. Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
