A Daily Prayer based on Numbers 8:1-9:14

Lord God, I come into your presence this day to bring ______________________ and myself before your throne. I pray that you will purify us from sin and cleanse us with the blood of Jesus that we may be ready to do whatever work you have for us to do. May we be given wholly to you and set apart for you to do your work on behalf of others. I pray that you will sustain us in whatever responsibilities you have assigned to us, that we may serve you faithfully and well until you release us. May Christ always be to us our Passover lamb, the one whose shed blood has caused the Destroyer to pass over us and has granted us eternal life. I pray that we will seek counsel from you whenever we do not know how to proceed. Teach us to wait patiently on you until we hear from you what you want us to do. I ask you faithfully to grant us the direction and wisdom we seek that we may know how to follow you. I pray this in Jesus’ name as the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. Amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."
