A Daily Prayer based on Numbers 3-4

Sovereign Lord, We read in these chapters of the care you took to see that your sanctuary in the desert was properly cared for. We know from your teaching in the New Testament that this sanctuary was a picture of the church, which is your dwelling place in the Spirit. I pray that ______________________ and I will know the place that you have assigned to us in your body. I pray that you will speak with us through your word, even face to face as you spoke with Moses, so that we may know what you want us to do. May each of us do everything that we are commanded to do by your word. Please show us the spiritual gifts you have given us, and anoint us with the Holy Spirit. I pray that you will show each of us how and where you want us to serve in the work of your church, so that we all may find our proper place. I pray that we will be responsible for the care of everything you assign to us so that everything that needs to be done to advance your kingdom will be done. As the Levites guarded the tabernacle, so may we guard and protect our churches and our families from error and spiritual contamination so that our worship of you may be pleasing in your sight. May we be led and guided in ministry by those who have been anointed by your Spirit. Grant us a willing spirit to receive direction from our spiritual leaders, to obey them and submit to their authority, so that the service of our spiritual leaders may be a joy for them and not a burden. This I pray in the name of him who is our high priest forever, Jesus Christ. Amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
