A Daily Prayer based on Jeremiah 24-25

Lord God, I bring my city and nation before you this day, and ask for renewal and reformation here. I acknowledge on behalf of my people that you have spoken to us again and again, but we have not listened or paid attention to your word. I pray by the work of your Spirit you will prompt each of us to turn from our evil ways and evil practices so that we may not provoke you to anger with the work of our own hands and so bring harm on ourselves. We are sobered by the realization that your judgment begins with the household of God and that you may use evil nations as your servants against us to punish us for persistently refusing to incline our ears to your word. I pray that you will roar from on high against your enemies, and thunder from your holy dwelling. Roar mightily against all who oppose you and shout like those who tread the grapes. I pray that you will recompense the nations of the world according to their deeds and the work of their hands. May the tumult of your power resound to the ends of the earth. I pray for myself and for ______________________ . May your eyes watch over us for our good. Cause us to turn to you with all our heart so that you may build us up and not tear us down, and plant us and not uproot us. Give us a heart to know you, that you are the Lord. Please preserve among us the sounds of joy and gladness. May we be your people, and may you be our God. In the name of Jesus, amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
