A Daily Prayer based on Genesis 11:10-13:4

Lord God, I pray today for myself and for ______________________, that you will move in our hearts as you worked in Abraham's heart, so that each one of us will be willing to leave familiar surroundings - even country, people, or extended family - to go to the place you direct us. I pray that you will enable us to have a greater and greater impact on those around us. I ask you to bless us, and protect our reputation and the honor of our name. Above all, may we be a blessing to others. I pray that you will bless those who bless us, and that your divine power will protect us from those who dishonor us. I pray that everyone in our sphere of influence will be blessed through us. I pray that you will manifest yourself to us as you did to Abraham. May we build an altar to you in the Spirit everywhere we go, and every day call on your name. I ask you to keep every promise you have made to us that our destiny on this earth may be fulfilled. We humbly ask for your blessing to rest on us even though we, like Abraham, often do not deserve it. Please keep us from exposing others to risk through our own cowardice and weakness. Should we ever stray from the path you have assigned us, I pray that you will protect us and others from our folly and our lack of faith and quickly bring us back once again to the place where we worship you and call on your name as we did at the beginning of our walk with you. We pray for a fresh spiritual awakening in our nation and we ask you to call us back to the faith of Abraham. By faith, may we all becomes sons of Abraham so that you may bless the United States. I pray in turn that we as a nation may continue to be a blessing to the world. Please protect us from those who curse us as a people and wish to destroy us. This I pray in the name of Jesus, amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Welcome

Never before in the history of our country has America faced a moral crisis like the one before us today. The foundations of our government are crumbling right before our eyes. Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
