A Daily Prayer based on Exodus 26-27

Lord God, I pray that ______________________ and I will each find our place in the temple you are building to be your dwelling place in the Spirit. Enable each of us to discover the unique spiritual gifts you have given to us, and the role you have assigned to us in the body of Christ. May we be joined together and live in unity, united together by your Spirit to each other. I thank you for the work of Christ on the cross, which has become for us our altar where his blood was shed for us. I praise you that through his work, the veil that separates us from you has been torn from top to bottom. May we have the confidence often to enter into your presence by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way he has opened for us. I thank you that there is a mercy seat in your presence, a place of atonement where we may find full forgiveness for our sins. Purify us through the blood of Christ so that our hearts may be sprinkled to cleanse us from all guilt of conscience. May we often draw near to you with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith. Just as Moses built the tabernacle according to the pattern you showed him on the mountain, so may we build your church according to the pattern you have shown us in Scripture. We acknowledge you, Lord Christ, as our priest and the great priest over the house of God. It is in your name that we pray. Amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Never before in the history of our country has America faced a moral crisis like the one before us today. The foundations of our government are crumbling right before our eyes. Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
