A Daily Prayer based on Revelation 3:1-13

Lord Jesus, I come before you as the one who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars, and as the one who is holy and true and holds the key of David. Please give us ears to hear what your Spirit is saying to the churches. I pray for us today that you would so work in us by your Spirit that we may be worthy to walk with you, dressed in white. I pray that you will never erase our names from the book of life, but instead acknowledge us by name before your God and your angels. May we never come to a place where we have only the reputation of being spiritually alive while being in truth dead. Should we ever reach that place, wake us up that we may strengthen what remains before it dies so that our deeds may be complete in the sight of your God. Remind us of what we have received and heard, that we may obey it and repent so that you will not have to come against us like a thief. Lord, I affirm on our behalf that what you open, no man can shut; and what you shut, no man can open. I pray that you will place before us an open door that no one can shut. Even though we have little strength, may we keep your word and not deny your name. I pray that the day will come when you will make our enemies come and fall down at our feet and acknowledge that you have loved us. Reward our patient endurance by protecting us from the hour of trial. I pray that each of us will hold on to what we have so that no one will take our crown. Please write on us a new name, the name of your God, and the name of the city of your God, which is coming down from heaven. Please make us pillars in the temple of your God so that we never again will leave it. Amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Never before in the history of our country has America faced a moral crisis like the one before us today. The foundations of our government are crumbling right before our eyes. Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
