A Daily Prayer based on Revelation 2:8-17

Lord Jesus, I pray in your powerful name for myself and for ______________________, that the eyes of our hearts will be opened to see you as the one who is the First and the Last, the one who was dead and who came to life again. Even in times of affliction and poverty may we find our true riches in you. If the devil tests us by causing us to suffer persecution, I pray that we will not be afraid or renounce our faith in you. Even if we live or work in a place where Satan lives and has great authority, may we remain true to your name and continue to be faithful witnesses, even to the point of death. I pray that you will reward our faithfulness by giving us the crown of life that we may not be hurt at all by the second death. I pray that we will reject any teaching that entices us into sin or sexual immorality, so that you will never have to fight against us with the double-edged sword that comes from your mouth. I pray instead that as we remain faithful to you and your Word, you will feed our souls and spirits with hidden manna. I ask you to give each of us a new name, known only to us and you, to symbolize our intimate relationship with you. Amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
