A Daily Prayer based on Revelation 2:18-29

Revelation 2:18-29 Lord Jesus, I approach you as the Son of God, as the one whose eyes are like blazing fire and whose feet are like burnished bronze. I acknowledge you as the one who searches hearts and minds, and who repays each one of us according to our works. I pray in your name for myself and for ______________________ today, that we may have ears to hear what your Spirit is saying to us. I ask that we may grow this day and every day in works of love, faith, service, and perseverance. I claim your promise for us that you will repay us for these deeds and give us the morning star. I pray that we will have no tolerance for those who falsely claim to speak for you and mislead your people, especially into sexual immorality and idolatry. May you repay those who mislead your servants by casting them on a bed of suffering unless they repent. Prompt us to hold fast to what we have until you come. May we conquer by keeping your works and doing your will until the end so that just as you received authority from your Father so we may rule over the nations with an iron scepter. Amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
