A Daily Prayer based on Mark 5:21-6:6a

Lord Jesus, I thank you on my behalf and on behalf of ______________________ that you make your power available not only to the rich and famous but also to the down and out. May we see that you show no favoritism but help anyone who approaches you in faith. I pray that we will choose to believe that you will stop everything to turn and give your full attention to us when we need you. Encourage us to believe in you and your power to save even when things look hopeless and beyond human remedy. May we fall at your feet, as both the synagogue ruler and the woman did, and believe in you. May power go out from you to help us when we touch you through our faith. May we be unafraid of anything and everything except you, and choose to resolutely believe in you. May our faith save us, and may we emerge from crisis into a time of peace and joy as you do for us things that no power on earth can do. Use us to speak your wisdom to friends, to our extended families, and to our immediate families. If we encounter opposition and hostility, remind us of your teaching that no prophet is without honor except among his relatives and in his own house. Free our friends and family members from their unbelief that you may release your miraculous power among them. I pray this in your powerful name, amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
