A Daily Prayer based on Mark 4:35-5:20

Lord Jesus, May ______________________ and I recognize that you are far more than just a teacher of truth, and instead see that you are also the lord over all of nature. Remind us of your great power and authority to rebuke the strongest wind and to calm the highest waves, especially when we find ourselves in turbulent circumstances. No matter how high the waves that are breaking against us, remind us that we do not need to panic since you are in the boat with us and that you do indeed care for us. May we have a quiet and simple faith that you will see us through the storm and bring us to calm waters. Remind us too that you are not only the lord of the world we can see but also the lord of the world we cannot see. Teach us that there is power and authority in your name to bind even the strongest and most vicious evil spirits and to deliver even the most demonically oppressed from the grip of Satan. I pray that you will give us opportunity to see your power over evil spirits displayed. I pray that you will open for us a door for the word that we may be able to speak with our own friends and family members about how much you have done for us, and how much mercy you have shown to us. This I ask in your name, amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
