A Daily Prayer based on Luke 2:40-52

Heavenly Father, I ask for myself and for ______________________ today, that you will work in us as you worked in the life of your Son. May each of us grow and become strong. Please fill us with wisdom, and cause your grace and favor to rest upon us. I pray that you will grant us teachers to whom we may listen and of whom we may ask questions, that we may learn the deep things of God. I pray that all who hear us, even members of our own families, will recognize that it is your wisdom and counsel that shapes our understanding. Grant us godly and insightful answers to their questions about spiritual matters. I pray that you will grant us a compulsion to be engaged in your affairs, and prompt us to treasure up in our hearts the things written about your Son. I pray that we will grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men. Together we pray for every teenager in our community and nation, that you will cause them to grow and become strong. We pray that they will be filled with wisdom, and that the grace of God will be upon them. Please grant them a spirit of obedience to their parents. May they grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men. This I ask in the name of your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
