A Daily Prayer based on John 7:25-52

Lord Jesus, I know that even in our day, people are divided into two camps because of you. Many of our leaders reject you and have contempt for your gospel; yet many ordinary people have discovered that you are the Christ. I pray that every man, woman, and child in our city and nation will come to know that you have been sent from God and that you satisfy the spiritual thirst of everyone who comes to you. I believe that you are the Christ. I believe that no one ever spoke the way you did. I believe that you did not come to us on your own, but that you are from God and he sent you to us. You are the only one who has seen him and knows him. I look forward to the day when I will be where you are, and I know that I can only come there through my faith in you. Lord, the rulers of your day tried to seize you but could not lay a hand on you until your time had come. I trust you to protect ______________________ and me so that we cannot be harmed until we have finished the work you have called us to do. I pray that we will bring our inner thirst to you and drink from your living water. May streams of living water flow from within us, from the center of our being, through the Holy Spirit you have given to us. May he release those streams of living water into our spirit and soul even this day. I ask this in your name, as my Lord and Messiah, amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
