A Daily Prayer based on II Timothy 1

Lord Jesus, I pray that ______________________ and I will be able to serve you in such a way that our consciences will always be clear. Stir in us a desire to constantly remember, night and day, those we love in prayer. May our faith in you be a sincere and living faith. I pray that you will prompt us to fan into flame any spiritual gifts that have been lying dormant in us. May we recognize in every situation that the spirit of fear and timidity does not come from you so that we may not yield to it. In place of the spirit of fear, please grant us the Spirit of power, love, and self-discipline. I pray that we will never be ashamed to testify about you, nor be ashamed of anyone who stands for you. May we be willing, if necessary, to join with others in suffering for the gospel by the power of God. I pray that we will know you and be convinced that you can guard whatever you have entrusted to us until the day of your return. I pray that we will keep the teaching of your apostles as a pattern of sound teaching, and grow in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. Give us opportunity to refresh and help others who serve you. I pray that you will reward us with mercy on the day of your return. I pray that we will continue to hold fast to the truth that you have saved us and called us to a holy life, not because of anything we have done, but because of your grace and the purpose you have for our lives. May we always remain convinced that you are the one who destroyed death and brought life and immortality to light through your gospel. May we know grace, mercy, and peace from you and from God the Father. This I pray in your name, amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
