A Daily Prayer based on Acts 4:32-5:16

Lord Jesus, I pray in your name today for myself and for ______________________ that you will so attach us to other believers that we will be one in heart and soul with them. I pray that you will work in our lives so that we will not claim that any of our possessions are our own, but instead be willing to share what we have with others. I pray that you will prompt us even to sell our property and possessions if necessary so that the proceeds may be distributed to anyone who has need, that there may be no needy persons among us. I pray that this spirit of generosity will be released widely into every church in our community and nation. I pray that we may continue to testify to your resurrection among our friends and neighbors with great power, the power of your Holy Spirit. May much grace be upon us and upon our families. I pray that we will keep a close watch on the thoughts that enter our minds that we may not allow any thoughts to lodge in our minds that are contrary to your will. I pray that we will be diligent in this regard so that Satan may never fill our hearts. Keep us from lying to the Holy Spirit or to others to make ourselves look better, or in any way acting under the impulse of Satan rather than your Holy Spirit. I pray that we will never test your Spirit, the Spirit of the Lord, either on our own or in agreement with anyone else. We pray together for the leadership of the churches in every community in the land, that many miraculous signs and wonders may be done among our people through our spiritual leaders. We pray together that the sick and those who are tormented by evil spirits may be healed in your name. We pray that the body of Christ will be highly regarded by the people in our community and nation, and that more and more men and women will believe in you and be added to our number. It is in your name that we pray. Amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Welcome

Never before in the history of our country has America faced a moral crisis like the one before us today. The foundations of our government are crumbling right before our eyes. Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
