A Daily Prayer based on Acts 4:1-31

Sovereign Lord, I pray for myself and for ______________________, that we all will come to the deep conviction that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus, and that there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. I pray that you will give us astonishing courage, even though we may be unschooled and ordinary, and I pray that those who see our courage will take note that we have it because we have been with Jesus. I pray that we will always obey you rather than men when we must make a choice between the two. May we not be able to help speaking about what we know to be true. Please fill us with the Holy Spirit that we may speak your word with great boldness whenever you open to us a door for your word. I ask you to bring us together with other believers that we may raise our voices together in prayer. Remind us that you made the heaven and the earth and the sea and everything in them, and that your power is greater than that of nations and of the kings of the earth. When political leaders take their stand and rage against you and your Anointed One and against your servants, we place our trust in you and affirm that only what your power and will have decided beforehand will happen. Consider their threats against us and enable us and our leaders to speak your word to them with great boldness. Make us unafraid of anything that threatens us. I ask you through us to stretch out your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus in our church, community and nation. This I ask in the name of Jesus, the name by which we must be saved, amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
