A Daily Prayer based on Acts 18:18-28

Lord Jesus, I pray that you will guide and direct my steps and the steps of ______________________, so that we may know how long we are to pursue each task you have set before us. Please watch over us and show us how and when to thank you for your protection in our lives. Grant us an understanding that our plans will only succeed if they are in your will. Teach us to accept those times when it is not your will to carry out what is in our minds to do. Please use us to reason with others about the truth and to strengthen believers around us. I pray that we will develop a thorough knowledge of the Scriptures, that we may be equipped for every good work. I pray that we will be instructed in your way and be able to speak to others about you accurately and with the energy of the Holy Spirit. May we be bold and courageous in all we do. Grant us a deeper understanding of the way of God. May we be a great help to those who by your grace have believed, and be able to assist them in their spiritual journey by pointing them to the Scriptures. We pray at this critical time in our history that you will raise up many men like Apollos in our city and nation, men who are mighty in the Scriptures and fervent in the Spirit, men who will be able to boldly and vigorously and publicly refute those who teach error. I pray this in your name, amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
