A Daily Prayer based on Psalms 95-96

Lord God, I worship you this day as the great God, the great King above all gods. You are great and greatly to be praised, and you are to be feared above all gods for you made the heavens. Splendor and majesty are before you, and strength and beauty are in your sanctuary. In your hand are the depths of the earth and the heights of the mountains. The sea is yours, for you made it, and your hands formed the dry land. May the heavens rejoice, and the earth be glad. May the sea resound, and all that is in it. May the fields be jubilant, and all the trees of the forest sing for joy. May the whole earth sing to you. We sing for joy to you as our Lord and we shout aloud to you, the Rock of our salvation. We come into your presence with thanksgiving and make a joyful noise to you with songs of praise. We sing to you a new song, praise your name, and tell of your salvation from day to day. I pray that ______________________ and I, along with the people of our city and nation, will not harden our hearts when we hear your voice, or allow our hearts to go astray. I pray that you will check us before we try you or put you to the test, remembering that you have proved yourself to us again and again through your work. Keep us from going astray in our hearts and failing to acknowledge your ways. I pray that we will be a people who know your ways and declare your glory among the nations and your marvelous works among all peoples. May we say among the nations, “The Lord reigns.” May all the earth tremble before you. We look forward to the day when you will come to judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in your faithfulness. We bow down in worship and kneel before you as the Lord our Maker. You are our God and we are the people of your pasture, the sheep of your hand. We ascribe to you glory and strength, the glory due your name, and we worship you in the splendor of your holiness. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Welcome

Never before in the history of our country has America faced a moral crisis like the one before us today. The foundations of our government are crumbling right before our eyes. Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
