A Daily Prayer based on Psalm 92-93

Lord God, We acknowledge this day that you reign on high and you are robed in majesty. You are armed with strength, and your throne was established from of old. You are from all eternity. You, the Lord on high, are mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea. Your statutes stand firm, your decrees are trustworthy, and holiness adorns your house for endless days. We acknowledge that it is good to give thanks to you and to sing praises to your name. You are the Most High God, and we proclaim your steadfast love in the morning and your faithfulness at night. You make us glad by your deeds, O Lord, and we sing for joy at the works of your hands. Your works are great, and your thoughts are profound, even though the senseless man does not know and fools do not understand. In Jesus’ name, even though the wicked sprout like grass and flourish for a time, may your enemies perish and may all evildoers be scattered. I pray for myself and for ______________________, that you will exalt our strength like that of a wild ox and pour the fine oil of your Holy Spirit over us. May our eyes see the defeat of our enemies and our ears hear the rout of our wicked foes. I pray that each one of us will flourish like a palm tree, and grow like a majestic cedar of Lebanon. May we flourish in your courts, the courts of our God, and stay fresh and green, still bearing fruit in old age. We declare that you are upright, that you are our Rock, and that there is no unrighteousness in you. Amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
