A Daily Prayer based on Psalm 119:49-80

Lord God, I pray this day in the name of Jesus for myself and for ______________________. Your hands have made us and formed us. You are good and what you do is good, and the earth is filled with your love. I pray that you will be our portion, and that we will seek your face with all our heart. Please do good to us according to your word, and teach us your decrees. May the law from your mouth be more precious to us than thousands of pieces of silver and gold. May we consider our ways, turn our steps to your statutes, and not delay to obey them. I pray that our hearts will be blameless toward your decrees. May we find comfort in your ancient laws. Please give us hope in our suffering as we remember your word and your promises to us. Remind us that it is good for us to be afflicted that we may learn your decrees. When the arrogant mock us without restraint, and smear us with lies, and even if the wicked bind us with ropes, may we not turn from your law. Even if the hearts of others are callous and unfeeling, may we delight in your law and may indignation grip us when the wicked forsake your law. I pray that the arrogant will be put to shame for wronging us without cause. I pray that we will be a friend to all who fear you, and that those who fear you will rejoice when they see us. May those who fear you and understand your statutes turn to us. I pray that your unfailing love will be our comfort, and that your compassion may come to us that we may live. May your law be our delight. Amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
