A Daily Prayer based on Psalm 119:129-152

Father, The statutes you have laid down are wonderful, righteous, and fully trustworthy. Your promises have been thoroughly tested and well-tried. Your righteousness is everlasting and your law is true and forever right. You have established your statutes to last forever. I pray for myself and for ______________________ today, in the name of Jesus. I pray that you will give us light and understanding through the unfolding of your words. I pray that we will long for your commands and obey them. Direct our footsteps and keep them steady according to your word, and let no sin or iniquity get dominion over us. Turn to us and have mercy on us; redeem us from the oppression of men that we may keep your precepts. Make your face shine upon us. May streams of tears flow from our eyes because people do not keep your law and our enemies ignore and forget your words. I pray that even when trouble and distress find us out, and we are lowly and despised, we will not forget your precepts. I pray that we will call to you with our whole heart and that you will save us. May we meditate on your promises through the watches of the night. Hear us in accordance with your steadfast love when we rise before dawn and cry for help. Please give us life according to your steadfast love when those with evil purpose draw near to us. Although they are far from your law, I pray that you will be near to us to protect us. May we put our hope in your word. Amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
