A Daily Prayer based on Psalm 106:1-33

Sovereign Lord, We confess that we as a nation have sinned, even as our fathers did, that we have done wrong and acted wickedly. We have given no thought to your miracles, and have not remembered your many kindnesses. I pray that you will forgive us for rebelling against you, and that you will save us for your name’s sake, and make your mighty power known. Save us from the hands of our foes, and redeem us from the hand of the enemy. I pray that we will once again believe your promises and sing your praise. May we not forget what you have done; instead may we wait patiently for your counsel. I pray that we will not give in to our cravings and ask you for things that will bring a wasting disease to our souls. I pray that we will not exchange you, our Glory, for anything else. In Jesus’ name, I pray for myself and for ______________________ this day. Use us to stand in the breach as Moses did to keep your wrath from coming on others. May we stand up and intervene as Phinehas did to check unrighteousness, and may this be credited to us as righteousness for generations to come. May no trouble come to others because of us. I pray that we will not rebel against your Spirit or murmur against you. I pray that we will not allow our spirits to become bitter or our lips to speak rashly. We give thanks to you, for you are good, and your love endures forever. May we proclaim your mighty acts and fully declare your praise. Teach us to maintain justice and constantly do what is right. Remember us when you show favor to your people, and come to our aid when you save them. May we enjoy the prosperity of your chosen ones, and share in the joy of your people. Amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
