A Daily Prayer based on Psalm 105

Lord God, We give thanks to you and call on your name, and we will make known among the nations what you have done. We will sing praise to you and tell of all your wonderful acts. We glory in your holy name, and our hearts rejoice as those who seek you. I pray that you will prompt us continually to seek you and your strength, and seek your face and your presence always. We remember the wondrous works you have done, your miracles, and the judgments you have pronounced. You are the Lord our God, and your judgments are in all the earth. You remember your covenant forever, the word you commanded, for a thousand generations. As you have done for your people in the past, so I pray today that even when we are few in number, and of little account, you will allow no one to oppress us. For our sake we ask you to rebuke kings and keep them from touching us, your anointed ones. May the word of the Lord prove true. Make us very fruitful, and stronger than our foes, both seen and unseen. May dread fall on those who would seek to harm us. Please satisfy us again with the bread of heaven. Open the rock, that water may flow through the desert like a river. Remember your holy promises to us, and bring out your people with rejoicing, your chosen ones with singing and shouts of joy. May we fall heir to everything you have for us. With the help of your Spirit, may we keep your precepts and observe your laws. We praise you in Jesus’ name. Amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
