A Daily Prayer based on II Chronicles 31:2-32:33

Sovereign Lord, I bring myself and ______________________ before your throne of grace, mercy, and power this day in Jesus’ name. I pray that you will prompt us to give to you as the people in Hezekiah’s day did. May we faithfully and generously bring the firstfruits of our labor so that our spiritual leaders can devote themselves to the teaching of your Word. Through our freewill contributions, may their needs and the needs of their families be met. I pray that we will imitate Hezekiah and do what is good and right and faithful before you. In everything, let us seek you and undertake to serve you in obedience to your commands, and become known for our acts of devotion. I pray that we will be faithful in keeping ourselves holy. I pray that success will not cause us to become proud in heart. instead, may we repent of all pride, humble ourselves under your mighty hand, and respond to every kindness you show us. When you leave us to ourselves, in order to test us and to know all that is in our heart, I pray that you will find obedience there. As we seek you with all our heart and serve you in accordance with your commandments, I humbly ask you to cause us to prosper that we may be successful in everything we undertake. Remind us that serving you faithfully does not mean a life without challenge or conflict. Make us strong and courageous in the face of adversity and danger, that we may not give way to fear or discouragement. Remind us that there is a greater power with us than with our enemies, because you are with us as the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles. We ask you for political leaders who will set themselves with all their heart to do what is good and right and faithful before you. Please grant us political leaders who will encourage us in our faith and who will be men of prayer in times of crisis. Please protect them from becoming proud In heart, that your wrath may not come upon us. When other peoples come against our land in the name of their god, and seek to terrify us and make us afraid, may we cry out in prayer to heaven as Hezekiah and Isaiah did. I pray that our military will be strong and courageous. Remind them that there is a greater power with us than with our enemies, for with our enemies is only the arm of the flesh, but with us is the Lord our God. Help us and send your angel to fight for us, save us from the hand of all our enemies and give us rest on every side. Amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Welcome

Never before in the history of our country has America faced a moral crisis like the one before us today. The foundations of our government are crumbling right before our eyes. Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
