A Daily Prayer based on I John 4:7-5:3

Heavenly Father, I thank you for showing your love among us by sending your Son into the world to be the Savior of the world and the atoning sacrifice for our sins, so that we might live through you. I know that you are love, and that whoever lives in love lives in you and you live in him. I pray for myself and for ______________________ this day. I know that love comes from you and we can only love because you have first loved us. I thank you that we have been born of you and know you, and that because your life is in us, we can love each other. I pray that we will love each other just as you have loved us, so that even though no one has seen you, you may live in us and your love may become complete in us and visible through us. I thank you that through acknowledging Jesus as the Son of God, you have come to live in us and we now live in you. I thank you that everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of you. Thank you for giving us of your Spirit and for the assurance he gives us that we live in you and you live in us. I pray that your love may be made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, the confidence that comes from knowing that in this world we are like you. I claim your promise that there is no fear in love, and I pray as our love for each other matures and is perfected, fear of your judgment will be driven from us. I pray that we will obey your command to love our brothers just as we love you. Remind us that if we do not love our brother whom we can see, we cannot love you, whom we cannot see. May we not only love you but also obey your commands to love your children. These things I pray in the name of the Jesus, the one and only Son of God and the Savior of the world. Amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Welcome

Never before in the history of our country has America faced a moral crisis like the one before us today. The foundations of our government are crumbling right before our eyes. Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
