Welcome

Never before in the history of our country has America faced a moral crisis like the one before us today. The foundations of our government are crumbling right before our eyes. Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ. If we are to see restoration, it will come only by the grace of God's mercy. We have the assurance of Scripture that "if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us" (1 John 5:14). There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture.

I encourage you to bookmark this page, and open it first thing in the morning. Read the passage for each day in your own Bible, and then pray the prayer based on that day’s Scripture back to God.

The schedule you will find here will take you all the way through the whole counsel of God, the entire Bible, in three years. If you start today and are faithful, you will have read through the entire word of God and prayed it back to him three years from today.

You will have an opportunity each day to make the “spray pattern” of your prayer as narrow or as broad as you’d like. Before God, I typically mention my immediate family, the people in my ministry, the organization in which I serve and its leader, the church I attend and its senior pastor, my neighborhood, my city and its mayor, my state and its governor, and the United States and our president. (It doesn’t take as long as it sounds!)

Each day you can pray the inexhaustible riches of God’s word into the lives of the people you love. May God bless you as you read his word and pray it back to him.
