A Daily Prayer based on Leviticus 8

Sovereign Lord, You tell us in the New Testament that each one of us who believes in your Son is a priest and that together we are a kingdom of priests. I pray in the name of Jesus that you will do for ______________________ and for me what you did for Aaron and his sons when you consecrated them as priests. As they were washed with water, so I pray that you will wash us with the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus. As they were clothed with priestly robes, so I pray that you will clothe us with the righteousness of your Son. As blood was placed on the ear of each priest, so I pray that you will anoint our hearing that we may hear your voice, listen to your Word, and truly hear others as they speak with us. As blood was placed on the hand of each priest, so I pray that you will anoint our hands that we may do only those things that please you. And as blood was placed on the foot of each priest, so I pray that you will anoint our feet that we may only go to those places that please you, and that our daily walk may honor you. May we impart the sweet aroma of the knowledge of you everywhere we go. As the priests ate together in your presence, so may we enjoy fellowship with you. And I pray that our service as priests, as we represent you to men, and men to you, will be a pleasing aroma to you. Amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
