A Daily Prayer based on Leviticus 6:8-7:38

Sovereign Lord, As the burnt offering was to be kept on the altar all night, and as the fire of the altar was to be kept burning all night, so I pray in Jesus' name that ______________________ and I will be prompted to make our bodies living sacrifices offered to you at all times. May our lives be wholly yielded to you every part of every day, and may there be a continual passion in our hearts to serve you and please you. As we worship you and fellowship with you, I pray that you will transfer your holiness to us that we may be holy even as you are holy. Make us mindful of your standards for us that we may avoid doing anything that would make us spiritually unclean in your eyes. As the priests were sustained through the offerings of the worshipers, so I pray that the spiritual leaders of your church in our city and nation will be amply supplied by the generous and faithful gifts of their people. May your followers remember the teaching of your Son that the laborer is worthy of his wages. I pray that our spiritual leaders will be freed from undue financial worry so that they may give themselves fully to the task of shepherding your flock and advancing your kingdom in our land. Amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
