A Daily Prayer based on Leviticus 4:1-6:7

Sovereign Lord, I pray for ______________________ and for myself, for those times when we sin and do what is forbidden in any of your commands. I pray that we will turn to Jesus Christ as the sin offering you have provided for us. I pray that we will confess our sin before you, and by faith “lay our hand” on Christ, trusting in him as the substitutionary sacrifice for our own sin. If our sin requires some form of restitution, show us how to make things right with anyone we have sinned against. Grant us a sober awareness that it is our own sin that sent Christ to the cross to die in our place. I ask, Lord Christ, as our anointed priest, that you will present your own shed blood before your Father in the unseen temple in the heavens to make atonement for our sins. I claim your promise for us that we will be forgiven. Grant us a quiet assurance that your blood is utterly sufficient to make atonement for us. I pray that as we confess our sin, you will be faithful and just to forgive us and to purify us from all unrighteousness. This I ask in your name, Lord Jesus, as the one who was made sin for us, that in you we might become the righteousness of God. Amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
