A Daily Prayer based on Jeremiah 49:34-50:46

Sovereign Lord Almighty, I bring ______________________ before your throne this day. I ask that what you do for them you also do for me. I pray that by the work of your Spirit we along with the people of our nation will turn our faces toward you and seek you, even in tears. May we come and bind ourselves to you in an everlasting covenant that will not be forgotten. I pray that we will always recognize that we are like sheep and that you are our true pasture, our hope and the hope of our fathers. May our appetite be fully satisfied in you. I pray that you will so forgive us that even if search is made for our guilt, there will be none, and if search is made for our sins, none will be found. I know that you are against the arrogant and the proud, and that the arrogant will stumble and fall with no one to help him up. We know that you will punish those nations who sin against you and oppose you and who proudly defy you, the Holy One of Israel. And so I pray that we will humble ourselves under your mighty hand that you may lift us up at the proper time. Be our strong Redeemer, vigorously defend our cause, and bring rest to our souls. I know that you, the Sovereign Lord Almighty, still have work to do in our lives. No one is like you and no one can challenge you; no one can stand against you. You break and shatter even the hammer of the whole earth. And so I pray that you will break the bow of every enemy that comes against us and accomplish everything that you have planned and purposed for our lives. These things I ask in Jesus’ name, amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Never before in the history of our country has America faced a moral crisis like the one before us today. The foundations of our government are crumbling right before our eyes. Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
