A Daily Prayer based on Jeremiah 42-43

Lord God, I bring ______________________ before your throne of grace and mercy today. I ask for myself as I ask for them, that you will do in my life what I ask you to do in theirs. I pray that you will pour out on us a spirit of grace and supplication so that we will often seek you in prayer. When we pray to you, I ask you to tell us where we should go and what we should do. When we ask you to show us the way we should go and the things we should do, I pray that you will answer us and tell us everything that is in your heart. Please hold nothing back from us. Grant us the patience to wait for your reply to our plea for mercy from you. We freely confess on behalf of our people that we have gone astray from you at the cost of our lives. We pray that you will receive our plea for mercy and have compassion on us. I pray that you will grant us a willing spirit, so that we will act in accordance with everything you tell us and everything that is in your word. Whether what you tell us is favorable or unfavorable, good or bad, I pray that we will obey your voice so that it may be well with us. I pray that we will obey you, even when it is difficult and everything in us cries out to take a different path. As we obey you, I pray that you will build us up and not tear us down, that you will plant us and not uproot us. I pray that we will not be afraid of anyone or anything. Be with us to save us and deliver us from the hands of every enemy. I pray that you will show us compassion by prompting others to show mercy to us. These things I ask in Jesus’ name, amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
