A Daily Prayer based on I Samuel 3:1-4:1a

Lord God, I pray this day that ______________________ and I will discover and use the spiritual gifts that you have given to us, that we may minister to you and be a part of your royal priesthood. May we grasp the truth that the ministry belongs to ordinary saints, and that through us you administer your grace in all its varied forms. I pray that you will call each of us by name as you called Samuel. I ask you to call us into a deeper relationship with you, and I ask you to reveal yourself to us through your word. May our hearts be soft so that when you call, we will say, “Here I am.” I pray that we will learn to recognize your voice, so that we will know when you are speaking to us. I pray that we will be eager for you to speak, and that we will be servants who are eager to listen to your voice. I pray that we will grow into full maturity in Christ. Please be with each one of us, and let none of your purposes for us fall to the ground. Please continue to manifest yourself to us, and reveal yourself to us by your word. Through us may your word spread to many in our spheres of influence. This I pray in the name of the one who is the Word of God. Amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
