A Daily Prayer based on Deuteronomy 26

Almighty God, I pray this day in Jesus' name for ______________________ as well as for myself. When we are suffering and mistreated, please hear our voice when we cry to you and see our misery and oppression. I ask you to deliver us with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, and even with miraculous signs and wonders. May you bring us to a place that spiritually, emotionally and physically is a land flowing with milk and honey. I pray that we will bow down before you and rejoice in all the good things you have given us and our households. May we not turn aside from or forget any of your commands. I pray that we will obey you as the Lord our God and do everything you command us. May we observe your commands carefully with all our heart and with all our soul. I pray that we will declare openly that you are our God, and walk in your ways and keep your statutes and your commandments and obey your voice. May we be your people, and your treasured possession. Please look down from heaven, your holy dwelling place, and bless us. Lord, you have been good to us as a nation from our very beginning just as you were to ancient Israel. When we were treated harshly and humiliated and had hard labor laid on us by a foreign power, we cried out to you and you heard our voice and saw our affliction, our toil and our oppression. You brought us out of bondage with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm and gave us this bountiful land, a land flowing with milk and honey. You have set us in praise and in fame and in honor high above all nations that you have made. But I confess with deep sorrow that we have transgressed your commandments and forgotten them, and have not obeyed your voice. I pray that you will forgive us our many sins, and bring about a fresh spiritual awakening among us that we may once again be careful to walk in your ways, and keep your statutes and commandments and obey your voice with all our heart and all our soul. I pray that once again we will all acknowledge you and you alone as the Lord our God and be to you a holy people. Amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Welcome

Never before in the history of our country has America faced a moral crisis like the one before us today. The foundations of our government are crumbling right before our eyes. Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
