A Daily Prayer based on Matthew 24:32-25:13

Lord Jesus, I ask for your grace for myself and for ______________________ this day. May we all fix our eyes on that day when you will return and send your angels with a loud trumpet call to gather your elect from one end of the heavens to the other. Remind us that you are near, right at the door, right at the gates. We believe in your promise that you will come again, knowing that even though heaven and earth may pass away, your words will never pass away. I pray that we will all keep watch and be ready at all times for your return, knowing that no one except the Father knows the day or the hour of your return. May we remember that you taught us that you will come at an hour when even we do not expect you. When men foolishly predict the date of your return, remind us of your word that the time of your return is known only to your Father. Prompt us always to be ready at any moment for your return so that we may not be caught unaware like the men of Noah’s day and be swept away in judgment. I pray that we all will know you and enter into a personal relationship with you, that we may enjoy your marriage feast when you return and not be thrown into the outer darkness. I pray that you will show each of us what you want us to do to serve you while we wait for your return. I pray that each one of us will be a faithful and wise servant whom you will find doing the task you have assigned to us when you return. We claim your promise that you will on that day grant us greater authority and responsibility in reward for our faithfulness. May our lamps be constantly trimmed and full of the oil of your Holy Spirit that we may always be ready for your return. I pray this in your name, amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
