A Daily Prayer based on John 10:22-42

Lord Jesus, I believe that you are the Christ, and I worship you as the Son of God, as the one who is one with the Father, and as the one who is God. If it was appropriate for those to whom the word of God came to be called "gods," how much more appropriate it is for ______________________ and I to worship you as God, the one whom your Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world. I pray that we will accept the testimony of the miracles you did in your Father's name. You showed us great miracles; you did what your Father did. May we know and understand through your miracles that the Father was in you, and you were in the Father during the days of your flesh. I thank you that we are your sheep. I pray that we will believe in you, listen to your voice, and follow you. I am grateful that you know us, and that you have given us eternal life so that we will never perish. May we rest securely in you. Remind us that your Father has given us to you, and that he is greater and more powerful than all. May we find a deep sense of security knowing that no one can snatch us out of his hand and no one can snatch us out of your hand. I pray that many people even this day will come to believe in you. Use us to make others aware of the great miracles that you did in the Father's name, that these miracles may speak for you and prompt them to believe in you. Even though your enemies tried to seize you repeatedly, you continued to escape their grasp until your time had come. In a similar way, I ask you to protect our lives until the work you have called us to do is done. These things I ask in your name, amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
