A Daily Prayer based on I John 2:28-3:10

Lord Christ, I pray this day that ______________________ and I will continue walking by faith in you so that when you appear we may be confident and unashamed before you at your coming. I know that you are wholly righteous, and I thank you that because we have been born of you we too can do what is right. I accept the truth that doing what is right is a mark of the children of God. Father, I thank you for the great love you have lavished on us, that we can rightly be called your children. I affirm that is what we truly are, even though the world does not recognize us as your children any more than it recognizes Jesus as your Son. Lord Jesus, I thank you for the promise of what we will become in you. I know that even though we are now the children of God, what we will be has not yet been made known. But I claim your promise that when you appear, we will be like you, because we will see you as you are. With this hope in our hearts and minds, I pray that we will purify ourselves just as you are pure. I affirm that there is no sin in you. I thank you that you appeared to take away our sins, and I thank you that by living in you we can overcome sin. I know the reason you appeared in human flesh was to destroy the devil’s work, and so I pray that you will destroy all his work in our lives. Father, I affirm that no one who is born of you, no one who lives in Christ, can continue to live in unrepentant sin. I thank you that we have been born of you, and that your seed remains in us. These things I pray in the name of Christ, the Son of God. Amen.

"There is no better way to pray according to the will of God than by praying his own word back to him. These daily prayers are crafted, as much as possible, to incorporate the very words of the Scripture."

Our churches are abandoning God, our families are in shambles. There is only one hope for restoration - the Lord Jesus Christ.
